We employ a strength based approach to understand each child’s individual needs and ensure they have the support they need to thrive.
A neuropsychological assessment can be an incredibly helpful and clarifying process for understanding how your child’s brain works—their unique strengths, challenges, and learning style. Through thoughtful evaluation, we help families and schools create plans that support each child’s growth and success.
Our comprehensive neuropsychological assessments address a wide range of clinical concerns, including:
- Attention and ADHD
- Learning Disabilities (reading, writing, math)
- Autism Spectrum Profiles
- Executive Functioning Challenges
- Memory and Processing Difficulties
- Emotional and Behavioral Concerns
Neuropsychological assessment provides a detailed understanding of the brain–behavior connection. It examines how different areas of the brain contribute to skills such as attention, memory, language, visual–spatial processing and visual-motor integration, executive functioning , sensory processing, adaptive behavior, and emotional and behavioral functioning.
Evaluation Process:
- Intake with Parents – Discuss concerns, developmental history, academic performance, and social-emotional functioning.
- Rating Scales and Questionnaires – Gather information from caregivers and teachers to understand behavior and functioning across settings.
- In-Person Testing Sessions – Comprehensive cognitive, academic, and neuropsychological testing to assess a wide range of skills.
- Comprehensive Report – A detailed written report summarizing assessment findings, interpretation, and recommendations tailored to your child’s unique profile.
- Neuropsychological Feedback Session – Review the report in depth, unpack all findings, discuss differential diagnosis, and provide actionable recommendations for home, school, and daily life.
Across all evaluations, particular attention is given to differential diagnosis, carefully distinguishing between overlapping or co-occurring conditions. This comprehensive approach ensures that recommendations are individualized, accurate, and meaningful, helping families and educators translate insights into practical support.
School-Based Services
Collaboration with schools is a vital part of our work. We partner with teachers, learning specialists, and support staff to ensure that evaluation findings translate into effective, practical interventions.
Our school-based services include:
- Classroom and Playground Observations – to better understand how a child learns and interacts in their natural setting.
- Consultation with School Teams – helping interpret assessment results and develop targeted supports.
- Staff Trainings and Workshops – on topics such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, executive functioning, learning differences, and emotional regulation.
Our goal is to build bridges between home, school, and clinical understanding—so that every child has the tools and support they need to thrive.
